Description
This is the final module in your training, and is the most important for the ongoing health and success of your screening practice. The annual program evaluation is a time to take a critical look at your processes and results, as well as replace or update the screening tools and instruments you use. It’s a time to review, renew, and improve.
Objectives
Once you’ve completed this course, you will be able to:
- Explain the importance of an annual program evaluation for vision screening programs across all age groups
- Apply the "Annual Vision Health Program Evaluation Checklist" to conduct a comprehensive program evaluation
- Determine solutions to address common barriers to follow-up eye care based on program evaluation findings
